We know that our customers have many choices for the items that they purchase. Although we work diligently to provide great service at all times, we know that is not enough. With an increasing number of alternatives available, it is imperative that we have to reach out to others to ensure we can offer the best deals possible. We therefore continuously look at the vendors we use for product sourcing as well as distribution - the end goal to ensure we meet and exceed all of our customers' needs... delivering the best possible products at the best possible prices as quickly as we can.
PRODUCT SELECTION - We regularly add new items to our product line. Sometimes, it is a matter of new products coming available in the marketplace. However, in most cases, it is because our customers ask us to get an item for them. Typically, generic brands will be less expensive than famous brands. However, if a customer really needs Brand X, we will work to see if we can get it for them at a lower price than they pay through other channels. We stock new items almost everyday, sometimes just for single customers who buy the item regularly, so if there is something you need that we don't currently carry, please check to see if we can get it for you. Please note: We do not accept returns of custom or special order items.
PRODUCT QUALITY - Generic does not necessarily mean inferior. The fact is that most generic products are made by the same factories who also produce the exact same items with famous logos applied to them. The important thing is that we evaluate the items we carry, both generic and brand name, and if we don't think the quality is good and consistent enough for our customers, we won't stock it. When we find quality issues with vendors from whom we purchase regularly, we let them know. Especially in the area of safety, quality is of paramount importance.
PRICE - We work hard to keep our costs low, and we pass the results of our efforts on to our customers in terms of low prices. Sometimes, we need to buy item in large quantities or make a long-term purchase commitment to get a better price, sometimes we need to anticipate market price increases and purchase inventory before we really need it, and sometimes we need to simply switch to alternative vendor sources. Our mark-up over cost is low, and that translates to low wholesale prices for our customers. Volume customers and regular customers get even better deals. Many times, our costs will go up, but we will hold the line for a period of time, absorbing the increases to the benefit of our customer base. DELIVERY - Providing speedy and knowledgeable service in very important to us. We stock a large amount of inventory in our two warehouses, but we also utilize regional distribution centers throughout the United States. This both minimizes shipping costs and also speeds the turn-around of product delivery to our customers after an order is placed. If an order is placed on a non-holiday weekday by 3:30pm PST, we will usually ship the item (or transmit the order to a regional center closer to you) the same day. US Mail shipments usually take from 1 - 4 days. UPS Ground Shipments take 1 - 5 business days to arrive. If you are local to one of our warehouses, and you place an order of $100 or more from our online store, we will personally deliver the item to you.
RETURNS - If you order an item that you determine is not what you need upon receipt, and you want to return or exchange it, you must contact us for an authorization # for a return within 3 days of your receipt of the item. We will only accept returned items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original condition with all packaging materials intact. Returns / exchanges are not accepted for used items or special orders. Items must be returned at your own expense, and the original shipping & handling will not be refunded. A 15% restocking fee (on the price of the item) will be charged on returns before you are credited back. To avoid problems, please review the item description and ask any question you may have before making your purchase.
